Our History
Kreuger Properties is a boutique, family-owned and operated real estate investment and management company. We are unique in that we own and operate all the properties we currently manage. We strive to provide personal and attentive service to all our residents, as well as maintain a positive and supportive work environment for all our employees.
Our family values contribute to the way we manage our business. This means when you rent from us, you’re a face and a name- never a number. When you work with us we support and invest in your growth and your future.
Our History
In the 1950s Ervin Kreuger moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, from North Dakota, to take a job at Ford Motor Company. He had a degree in computers and worked the night shift at the Fremont plant (now Tesla). Supporting a growing family, Ervin began investing in real estate on the side. He loved a “good deal” and that meant as his portfolio grew, so did its diversity. His focus was investments he could manage on the side with the help of his wife, LaDonna, and their children.
The only boy of 4 children, Randy, helped his dad repair, clean and manage the properties- riding his bike from their home to the self-serve laundry mats Erv invested in at closing and learning the business as he went. After many different investments and managing the challenges of the various asset classes of the real estate business, Randy began focusing on long-term residential properties. Together with his wife Javonne and their family, they continued where Erv left off- investing in condos, single families, multi-family, and some commercial properties focused in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties.
Today their youngest child Laura leads the third generation and manages the portfolio- a “good deal” is still hard to pass up, however arguably a bit harder to find.

Laura Kreuger
Principal Director
Today Laura enjoys managing and growing the real estate portfolio while leading and learning from the team at Kreuger Properties. She loves designing and managing unit updates, seeking out and implementing new tools to make the business run more efficiently, connecting with Residents, and of course, never turning down an opportunity to look at a property. Laura is always on the lookout for value-add opportunities and more recently short-term destination vacation rentals.
When she’s not in the office or answering emails, Laura is studying for her Executive MBA at Santa Clara University. In between work and school, Laura loves spending time with her husband, Jose and daughter, Grace building legos, reading Harry Potter, riding OneWheels or playing with their pups Dutch and Ruffles… as a family they enjoy international adventures and more!
Elisabeth Toste
Director of Property Services
Elisabeth is the newest member of our team and we’re so happy to have her join Kreuger Properties! She brings with her a robust resume, including 14 years of Bay Area property management experience. Her warm, friendly and trustworthy personality are a few of the many attributes contributing to Elisabeth’s success in the industry. When asked, Elisabeth identifies building deep and long-lasting relationships as one of her favorite parts of property management and she looks forward to investing in the Kreuger Property community of Residents.
On her time off, Elisabeth loves spending time with her big Portuguese family. She also enjoys traveling whether it be to nearby cities or far off countries, indulging in food and culture.

Teamwork and integrity are two attributes Micah values and are a couple of the many skills she contributes to our community. In her spare time, Micah enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach. She loves dogs and recently adopted a rescue puppy named Jac.”
Janine de Honor
Accounting Assistant
“Janine recently joined Kreuger Properties as our Accounting Assistant. She has seven years of customer service experience and three years in administrative and quality assurance roles. She focuses on accounting tasks, keeping everything organized, and also handles customer inquiries with professionalism and care.
Janine loves to learn other languages and is currently studying Spanish in her spare time. She enjoys hiking and going to the beach when she travels.”
